Cook's Landing has three 18' yurts for the adventurous, outdoor loving guests. A yurt provides a nature-friendly lodging alternative. Guests enjoy a full breakfast in the dining yurt each morning and refreshments in the evening. Yurts are canvas/tent like structures that sit on a wooden deck. Spend some time in a yurt, the circle of unity and reconnect with nature. Our objective is to create a memorable experience that our guests will never forget - so come on, leave behind the stress of city life. We are located on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state, only a half-hour ferry ride and a two hour drive west of downtown Seattle. It is a place to deepen your relationship with Mother Earth, a place for feeling a sense of connection with nature. The Pacific Ocean beaches are only a 15 to 25 minute drive. Fantastic walking, hiking, mountain biking, biking, canoeing and windsurfing are all within easy reach. Make friends with our goats and chickens. Collect eggs. Sit back, listen and watch the wildlife: morning doves, bald eagles, butterflies, birds .....
